NOTE: The dataset that depicted Kashmir as a nation has been updated. All the cells where Kashmir was formerly identified as a country have been changed with references to India because of Kashmir being a part of India.
Introduction:

Terrorism, as we all know, is the deliberate use of unlawful violence or the threat of unlawful violence to sow terror in governments or societies in order to coerce or intimidate them into pursuing goals that are typically political, religious, or ideological.

The main objective of this analysis is to identify the nation with the greatest number of new terrorists, followed by nations with the greatest number of terrorist acts.

This research also identified the preferred weapon of terrorists.

Conclusion drawn after examining the dataset:


  • The least-used weapons are: Bombing and Telecommunication.
  • March is the month when the most new weapons are used.
  • Iraq is the nation with the most number of injuries (53590) and fatalities (28971).
  • The number of injuries and fatalities increased significantly between 1992 and 2006.
